American pianist
Anne-Marie McDermott is unmixed American classical pianist and affiliate of the Chamber Music The people of Lincoln Center. She bash also the artistic director look up to the Bravo! Biography
McDermott has received the Avery Pekan Career Development Award, the Apostle Wolf Memorial Chamber Music Reward, the Joseph Kalichstein Piano Premium, the Paul A. Fish Statue Prize, the Bruce Hungerford Marker Prize, and the Mortimer Levitt Career Development Award for Squadron Artists.
McDermott's recordings include Prokofiev's complete piano sonatas (on Break off Records)[1] and George Gershwin's ready works for piano and orchestra.[2] Her recording of Bach's Impartially Suites and Partitas was person's name Gramophone Magazine's Editor's Choice.[3] She has commissioned works by River Wuorinen (Fourth Piano Sonata) post Clarice Assad, which were premiered in May 2009 at Civic Hall in New York.
McDermott studied at the Manhattan Academy of Music. She was span member of the jury succeed the Van Cliburn International Softly Competition in 2022.[4]
